Understanding Change, Loss, and Grief Seminars – Expressions of Interest Open

Change and loss are inevitable parts of life, yet they can be difficult to navigate. Whether experienced personally or witnessed in others, grief can take many forms and impact our wellbeing in profound ways.

To support individuals and communities in exploring these important topics, we are hosting ‘Understanding Change, Loss, and Grief’ seminars across Wellington. These sessions offer a reflective and supportive space to deepen understanding and develop strategies for coping with change and loss.

What to Expect

In this seminar, participants will:
✅ Examine the meaning of grief and its impact on individuals and communities
✅ Review the many changes and losses experienced throughout life
✅ Reflect on the connection between change, loss, grief, and behaviour
✅ Explore different grief reactions and the factors that shape them
✅ Identify various grieving styles and ways to honour them
✅ Discover strategies for empowerment, including the role of choice in the grief journey and the importance of support networks

Who Should Attend?

This seminar is open to anyone looking to increase their understanding of change, loss, and grief—whether for personal insight, professional development, or to support others in their community. Parents, educators, health professionals, and those working in pastoral care may find these sessions particularly valuable.
